Although that is the main reason people rent RVs, there are a lot of reasons people don't often think of. --If you're having family in town, why not rent an RV for sleeping arrangements. It often works out to be much cheaper than a hotel, and it's much more convenient to have your family stay right at your house rather than miles away. If you have family coming to town give us a call and ask about our no-mileage discounts! --Is your house under construction or damaged in a way that makes it temporarily non-livable? Rent a RV and stay in your own driveway until you're ready to move back in! It's often cheaper than a hotel and you can stay on your property to protect it and watch over the construction. Give us a call and ask about our no-mileage discounts! --Are your kids heading to prom? Limos are expensive, especially around prom time (not coincidentally). Try taking an RV to prom instead! It's cheaper than a limo, and it's sure to make all your friends jealous. We have had many rentals for this very reason and people always come back telling us how they were the talk of the school and everyone wished that had thought of renting a RV instead of a limo. For the parents it's a great way to watch over your kids and their friends after the prom as you drop them off safely back at their own homes. --Disasters which damage your home cause a lot of pain and anguish. Many people find it comforting to stay in their own driveway while they recover and while their homes are being repaired. We offer long-term rentals to those who may not be able to stay in their own home for an extended amount of time. If your home insurance covers expenses of such disasters they will often pay for the RV Rental. We'd be happy to work with your insurance company and help in any way we can during such times. --Want to travel around the country? There are so many sights to be seen around the United States and there is no better way to see them than in an RV. Try visiting all those places you often fly right over and you may just discover your new favorite vacation spot. We offer long-term rentals to those who want to travel for a month or more. --Temporary offices are very expensive. Why not rent an RV for your temporary office needs? It's a great way to save money and RVs are much more luxurious inside than mobile offices. You also have the convenience of a full kitchen, restroom, and sleeping arrangements when you need them. Of course the economy and job market have thrown a curve ball into many families usual plans. With penny pinching in mind, and an absolute refusal to compromise on the family fun, have you ever considered renting an RV? The closest you may have been to one is watching them thunder down the highway headed for all sorts of mysterious destinations. Or maybe you have friends that have them and hear them talk about their trips constantly. Regardless of your experience with RVs, renting an RV may very well be the best thing you ever did for your family. Allow me to share what I remember about my childhood. My parents bought a camper, the type that rest on the back of a pickup truck. I remember taking trips up to the Angeles Crest Highway like it was yesterday. I am 32 years old now and must have been only 6 or 7 at the time. We'd sit around the campfire and listen to the stories only Uncles could tell. We had so much fun in that camper. Sure, it wasn't a modern Diesel Pusher or fancy 5th wheel, but that didn't matter. Those memories will never fade. A few years went by and my parents upgraded to a Class A motorhome when I was about 10 years old. We felt like we went from a Motel 6 to a beachfront suite at The Four Seasons. Our trips got a little more extravagant too. I remember two trips that we took to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. 3 weeks of pure fun that I hope one day to experience again with my two girls. I guess the point that I'm making is that I've been fortunate in life. I've flown all over the U.S. I've stayed at the best hotels. I've eaten at the best restaurants. I've been on lavish vacations that cost a bundle. But I can honestly tell you that none those even come close to the fun and memories created by RVing. I challenge you step beyond the airport or the cruise ship. Think beyond the same old thing. Rent an RV this summer, and change what a vacation means to your family.
